Gay Marriage...

What is the big whoop? Gay's should be allowed to get married. This is what I think. They are points that my mother read off the internet to me and Jacq, and what I think about them.

1. Kids. Turn on the t.v. watch the maury show. I don't watch the show. But Jacq does and I'll hear it at times while i'm on the computer. Anyway, I am being raised by two gay mothers... and I think it makes me more open-minded. About the maury show; there are a lot of straight unmarried people who have kids and don't know who the father is or think that 10 guys "could be." I know alot of kids who swear and their parents are straight or divorced. I don't swear, so having gay parents does not make you bad.

2. The Bible. Some people say the Bible is against Gay marriage.... I think that is the most stupid excuse. In the Bible it says nothing about gays. It does however mention divorce. I hear about more straight divorces than gay divorces (oh, right..they don't have the right to marry). I agree with my mom when she says " People who use the Bible against gays have no backbone of their own, they are driven by fear; just like those accused because of 'Satanic Panic'."

3. Marriage is for a man and a woman. This is another thing that bothers me... Why is marriage just for a man and woman? I mean if you like one another you should be allowed to get married. Right? So what if it is two women or two men getting married, as long as you're consenting adults.

I might not be gay, but I don't care if you are Gay, Straight, or Bi. So if you don't like gays get off your high horse, and educate yourself!
